Abstract
Madiun City is an urban city that has a high level of development, in the period of 5 years (2013-2018), there has been a land use change from non-built to built covering an area of 82 ha. This is what makes changes in ground surface temperature in an area, especially in Madiun City. The objectives of this study are (1) to determine the changes in the area of green open space in Madiun City in 2010 and 2020 (2) to determine the distribution of LST in Madiun City in 2010 and 2020 (3) to determine the effect of changes in green open space on LST in Madiun City from 2010 to 2020. The method used in this study is a survey method, sampling using random sampling, to get an estimate of the LST value, it is done by extracting Landsat 7 ETM and 8 OLI image data, while mapping green space using the supervised classification MLC algorithm, to determine the relationship between changes in area RTH to LST was carried out by simple linear regression analysis with RTH as the independent variable and LST as the dependent variable. The results of this study indicate that the area of green open space in Madiun City has decreased, in 2010 the area of green open space reached 24.09 km2, in 2020 the area of green open space was 12.95 km2, the area of green open space decreased but still met the requirements of more than 30% of the total area. , the classification of soil surface temperature in Madiun City in 2010 was 20-280C spread over several points, in 2020 the temperature classification was 26-340C spread over several points. Regression results show the effect of changes in the area of green open space on LST has insignificant results, true the effect is only 10.4% and the remaining 89.6% is influenced by other factors outside the independent variable (RTH), every 1 km2 reduction in green open space there will be an increase in temperature air at 0.0080C.
