Abstract
This study aims to: 1) Describe the role of parents in students' learning motivation in online learning for fifth grade at SDN 01 Soka. 2) Describe the difficulty of the role of parents in students' learning motivation in online learning for class V at SDN 01 Soka. 3) Solutions in overcoming the role of parents in student achievement motivation in online learning classes at V SDN 01 Soka. This type of research is descriptive qualitative, where this research emphasizes analysis on inductive and deductive conclusions using scientific logic. Methods of data collection using observation, interviews, and documentation. Analyzed with Miles and Huberman models, namely: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study are: 1) The role of parents in children's learning motivation in online learning for class V at SDN 01 Soka, that the role of parents as teachers must guide children in learning, the role of parents in online learning is very important to motivate their children and to achieve success in their children's education. As a parent, you must also provide learning facilities. 2) Difficulties in the role of parents in students' learning motivation in online learning for class V at SDN 01 Soka, namely the difficulties faced by parents in students' motivation to learn online, such as dividing time between work and motivating children in online learning. 3) Solutions to overcome the role of parents in motivation for student learning achievement in online learning for class V at SDN 01 Soka, namely as parents must also have a schedule or divide time between work and accompanying children in learning, either in accompanying children before work or after work. In an online situation, parents should leave more time to pay attention to their children and parents should be able to create a comfortable learning environment.
