Abstract
Abstract This study aims to describe the implementation, constraints, and solutions in the formation of disciplinary character through compulsory study hours at Hamlet Purworejo Jeron Village Nogosari District Boyolali Regency. This type of research is qualitative. The data collection technique uses interviews, observation, and documentation. The validity of the data sources and triangulation of techniques or data collection methods. The research method uses interactive analysis. Research subjects were children, parents, and the community around them. The object of research is the formation of disciplinary character through compulsory study hours at Hamlet Purworejo Jeron Village Nogosari District Boyolali Regency. The results showed that: 1) Implementation of disciplinary character building through compulsory study hours can provide experience, life trials, sacrifices and environmental influences then internalize the values in a person so that repeated attitudes and behaviors will become habits and character form, 2) constraints in the formation of disciplinary character through compulsory study hours are found in the individual himself and communication less effective, 3) Solutions in overcoming obstacles in shaping the character of discipline through compulsory school hours by communicating with all components, especially parents,always providing motivation for their children benefits that can be taken from this activity are future generations, especially children who are atill young can get used to positive activities. In addition to priests, train children to live with discipline and responsibilities in carrying out their dailt activities.
