Abstract

In an effort to improve the quality of learning, it needs to be improved by developing the ability to think critically for students to work on questions that are equivalent to PISA. Solving PISA questions based on Polya's steps is a way that can be done to help students use math skills in everyday life. Therefore, the development of prototypes, especially on spatial geometry material, needs to be done to improve the quality of learning. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model. The purpose of this research is to develop a prototype of spatial geometry and design a learning simulation based on Polya's steps and problem posing. So that it can improve the quality of learning based on the analysis of students' answers using Polya's steps and problem posing. This study resulted in 5 prototype problems on PISA 2021 competency-based spatial geometry consisting of 12 questions. The prototype of the question meets the valid and practical criteria based on the results of the validator's assessment and analysis of students' answers. Analysis of student answers used for learning simulations is if students' answers are wrong in the analysis of Polya's steps. The answers to each question were actually used as a learning simulation using a problem posing strategy.
