Abstract
This study aims to determine the process, advantages and disadvantages and constraint in implementing e-learning based google classroom in the upper class at SDN 16 Sragen. The type of research used is qualitative with a phenomological design. The research subjects in this study were informants consisting of principals, teachers, and several students. The techniques data collection through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique uses an interactive analysis model which includes; data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed: (1) The implementation of e-learning based on google classroom in the upper class at SDN 16 Sragen was carried out online in delivering teacher learning materials also using videos displayed on youtube and the link would be sent via whatsapp group. The e-learning learning process during the pandemic that took place at SDN 16 Sragen was not much different from face-to-face learning. It's just that in the e-learning learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic, the implementation fully relies on the internet network and platforms or applications and media that support learning. (2) Strengths: can be used to convey learning without being limited by space and time; can use learning materials from various sources on the internet; teaching materials are relatively easy to update. Weaknesses: limited signal and unavailability of educators for each student; students are not familiar with online learning culture and are accustomed to face-to-face learning; internet quota is more wasteful; not all students have smartphones; and students have signal interference. (3) Constraints encountered: Internet network is not stable; Facilities owned by students are limited; the high price of quotas for accessing online learning; Students who are bored with learning activities carried out online so that the enthusiasm for student learning decreases.
