Abstract
This research was conducted in Candiroto District. The purpose of this study was to analyze the distribution of landslide susceptibility levels in Candiroto District, to determine the actual distribution of landslides that occurred in Candiroto District, to analyze the spatial suitability between the location of landslides and landslide susceptibility and to analyze the dominant factors causing landslides. The method used in this research is a field survey, scoring and overlay. The results of the study indicate that there are 3 landslide vulnerabilities in Candiroto District, namely low vulnerability spread over 19 terrain units spread across Plosogaden Village, Muneng Village, Muntung Village, Batursari Village, Lempuyang Village, Mento Village, Gunungpayung Village, Sidoharjo Village, and Sidoharjo Village. Krawitan, medium vulnerability which is spread over 50 terrain units which is almost spread in all villages in Candiroto District and high vulnerability which is spread over 43 terrain units located in all villages in Candiroto District except Mento Village. Landslide in Candiroto District Occurs in field unit V2-II-RCK in Canggal Village, S2-IV-LMK in Candiroto Village, V4-II-LMK in Mentosari Village, S2-I-LMK in Plosogaden Village, V6-IV-LC in Sekedung Village and Lempuyang Village, and V4-II-LMK in Ngabean Village. Landslides that occur occupy terrain units with medium and high levels of vulnerability. Landslide events that occur in each field unit have a spatial suitability between the landslide location and the level of landslide susceptibility. The dominant area factors that cause landslides in Candiroto District are geology and soil types.
