Abstract

Corona virus or covid-19 that occurred in the last year has a big impact on the world, especially in the field of health. There is a burden that is doubled felt by medical personnel and non-medical staff in it. Moreover, new variants and a surge in cases in hospitals make medical and non-medical personnel become worried and overwhelmed to cause various pressures that are felt. This study was conducted on non-media workers in referral hospitals with the aim of knowing strategies to overcome the pressures in the pandemic period carried out by non-medical hospital referral workers. In this study using a qualitative approach with a type of descriptive narrative research. Participants in this study amounted to 3 people with purposive sampling data. Then the data is analyzed using descriptive narrative and obtained the result that the perceived pressure is sourced from the family, work environment and the surrounding environment (external) as well as psychological pressure due to the pandemic (internal). It can be concluded that strategies in overcoming pressures are fairly effective, where participants are able to manage and cope with pressure rationally by finding solutions and solutions to perceived pressure
