Abstract
Rain is the most important input component in the hydrological analysis process. All concepts used to convert rain data into river flow data are hydrological cycle concepts. In Indonesia, there are several rainfall-flow discharge models that are often used and have been used in converting rain data into flow discharge data, namely the Mock method, the Tank method, and the NRECA method. The PLN- PPE 01 method is a combination of the Mock method and the Tank method. The PLN-PPE 01 method can be used to predict the availability of a river's discharge by transforming rain data into flow discharge, so this study uses the PLN-PPE 01 method. This study aims to determine the best performance of the flow rain model using the PLN-PPE 01 method and the -Initial parameter value of the PLN-PPE 01 method that corresponds to the recorded model. With the Solver program from the Ms. Excel can search for the optimal calibration parameter values so that the best model results are obtained that are close to the recorded discharge. The results of the analysis show that the performance of the PLN-PPE model is quite reliable with a correlation coefficient value of 0.88 and an error volume of 0% for a 2-year simulation (2014-2015), and a correlation coefficient value of 0.88 and a volume error of 3% for 4 year verification (2014-2017). In the verification of the 4-year model (2014-2017) the calibration parameters are obtained: A1 = 0.000 ; A2=1.438 ; B1=0.021 ; B2=0.651 ; PERCO=8.080 ; FABRIC=221.451 ; KLAPANG=15,869 ; ATAMP1=221.451 ; ATAMP2=252,499 ; KTAMP2=252,499 ; CSRO=0.478. Errors/deviations that occur are caused by the possibility of local rain that is not covered by the rain gauge.
