Abstract
The process of making acoustic guitar products in Sukoharjo has 4 work stations and 17 work activities. During the production process there is a risk of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) because the work is done for 8 hours with a sitting position with the body position bent, crouched, and perform repetitive or repetitive movements, especially the upper body such as the neck, shoulders, back, arms, and wrists. The aim of the study was to identify and analyze posture conditions using the Nordic Body Map (NBM) and Muscle Fatigue Analysis (MFA) methods. The NBM method includes complaints of pain of all parts of the worker's body. MFA method to determine muscle fatigue that occurs in the taip of the worker's body by determining the level of effort, duration of work, and frequency of work movements. The results of the study using the NBM method were conducted on all workers there were 2 high-risk workers, 3 moderate-risk workers, and 7 low-risk workers. Efforts to minimize the risk of MSDs are redesigned using SolidWork and CATIA applications. The results of the study using the MFA method are known that there are 3 workers perioritas very high and high on the body of the neck, back, shoulders, right arm, wrists and feet. Proposed improvements are given to reduce the level of risk felt by workers, namely repair of work facilities, layout improvements, and routine muscle stretching and exercise.
