Abstract

This research aims to describe motorcycle marketing in the pandemic era at CAM dealers. This research is qualitative research with ethnographic design. The subjects of this study were the head of marketing, employees of the marketing section, competitors, consumers and the surrounding community, while the object of this research was motorcycle marketing in the pandemic era at CAM dealers. The data collection methods used are observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The data validity technique in this study is through source triangulation. The technical stages of data analysis include determining informants, interviewing informants, making ethnographic notes, asking descriptive questions, analyzing interviews, creating domains, asking structural questions, creating taxonomics, asking contrast questions, component analysis, discovering cultural themes, and writing ethnography. The results showed that motorcycle marketing at CAM dealers before the pandemic was by doing marketing activities directly to the public while after the pandemic came marketing focused on doing online marketing using social media. Online marketing that is done continuously and followed by improved economic conditions makes motorcycle sales rise. Marketing is done by paying attention to challenges and obstacles in the event of a decrease in sales and looking for a good marketing solution or strategy so that sales rise. As well as finding out the trend of sales experiencing increases or decreases. Research conclusions before pandemics use direct marketing and after pandemics use online. Not carrying out events is an obstacle and a challenge, the solution focuses on online marketing. Do online marketing continuously so that sales go up.
