Abstract
Coloring is one of the lessons that is usually given to early childhood as a method of developing children's thinking in the arts before entering the basic education level to train motor skills, cognitive, language, social, moral, and art as a learning method to develop children's creativity in art. But in the digital age like now there are not many applications that can be used as media to support learning to make it easier for children to express their work. AR (Augmented Reality) is one of the media that supports learning, AR which will be made later is based on 3D modeling. The purpose of using AR is so that children can feel the whole sensation while seeing 3D objects as color samples. Making applications using Unity 3D software with the Vuforia SDK as the framework and running on Android-based smartphones. Markers will be scanned using a smartphone and will display 3D objects on the smartphone screen. With this application makes children become interested in learning to color an object with color guides that have been visualized in 3D, so that the child's imagination will be trained. In making this application the author uses the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method with the Waterfall model. To ensure the feasibility of the system, the authors conducted testing by black-box. This research produces an application that runs on an android smartphone to display colors on an object as a whole so that it can be used as a reference for children to learn to color an object.
