Abstract

The objectives of this study are (1) to describe the management strategy of 100 fishing tourism objects in Wunut Village, Tulung District, Klaten Regency (2) to describe the obstacles faced in managing 100 fishing tourism objects in Wunut Village, Tulung District, Klaten Regency. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques using interviews and observation and documentation. The resource persons in this research are tourism object managers, tourism object employees and visitors at tourism objects. Data analysis techniques by means of data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and verification. The data validity technique used is source triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the management of the Fishing 100 tourism object has been running optimally with the strategies carried out by the manager in developing tourism objects including: a) physical improvement, b) employee performance improvement, c) expansion of freshwater fish farming, and d) development homestay. The obstacles faced are a) the low awareness of tourists about environmental cleanliness, b) the lack of human resources in the digital field. The management of tourism objects is managed by the family who are assisted by several employees and there are five divisions including the swimming pool division, parking division, rides division, security division, and culinary division. the need for environmental maintenance of tourism objects so that tourists who come can enjoy their tourism activities comfortably.
