Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of Lazismu in implementing just and civilized human values in Mojogedang District, Karanganyar Regency. The subjects in this study were the chairman of Lazismu and the secretary of Lazismu. Data collection techniques are using interviews and documentation. Indicators of Lazismu's role in implementing just and civilized human values include: 1) Poverty alleviation, 2) Distribution of zakat funds, 3) Providing counseling. The results of this study indicate that Lazismu's role in implementing just and civilized human values is quite good. Poverty alleviation by Lazismu is good enough by making programs to support the activities of the people and develop the potential of each community and run the program well. The distribution of Lazismu zakat funds facilitates people to pay zakat by holding infaq boxes, in which the distribution goes well and is right on target to people who are entitled to receive zakat because Lazismu directly assigns it to those who are entitled. Lazismu in providing counseling is very diverse through its programs, the diversity of Lazismu programs is due to adapting to community conditions. Lazismu is engaged in the field of humanity for the welfare of the community in accordance with the values of Pancasila. Through its programs, Lazismu treats humans according to their dignity as creatures of God Almighty, and likes to treat humanitarian activities and uphold human values. Obstacles that arise in Lazismu's role in implementing fair and civilized human values such as the lack of incoming ZIS funds, In providing community counseling many people cannot attend when we hold counseling, besides that many people are also unable to raise what Lazismu conveys . In carrying out the program, there are some people who have not been touched by the programs from Lazismu, Mojogedang District.
