Abstract

This study aims to describe the strategies used by PPKn teachers, the obstacles faced by PPKn teachers, the solutions made by PPKn teachers in strengthening the character of student learning discipline through learning Pancasila and Citizenship Education at SMK Muhammadiyah 4 Surakarta in 2021. The research method uses qualitative descriptive. Sources of data come from sources or informants, places or events, documentation or archives. The data collection technique used observation, interview and documentation techniques. The validity of the data using triangulation of sources and techniques. Data analysis using interactive model. The results of the study show: (1) PPKn teachers' strategies in strengthening the character of student learning discipline using Microsoft Teams in the online learning process. The PPKn teacher's strategies in strengthening the character of learning disciplines are (a) Making learning contracts with students and mutually agreed upon by being present on time with 15 minutes of time, (b) Giving punishments for students who violate the rules, (c) Conducting class management by asking questions to students. students, (d) Providing time limits in collecting assignments, (2) Obstacles in strengthening the character of student learning discipline through PPKn learning, namely: (a) Students wake up late late, (b) Students have limited quotas or difficult signals that make the child late entry, (c) students lack awareness for discipline and motivation to learn, (d) active students who answer questions only those students and do not do assignments on time. (3) Teacher solutions in dealing with obstacles: (a) Provide punishment for being late for more than 15 minutes in the form of punishment not being considered present, (b) Students who are constrained by difficulty in signaling are welcome to come to school for online learning, (c) Provide understanding in an online manner. gradually to students regarding the importance of obeying the rules for a student, (d) Motivating students to participate and rewarding students who can answer questions and pay special attention to passive students, (e) Giving advice and motivation to students and listening to reasons given by students positively.
