Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that influence employment in the industrial sector of the province of Central Java. The background of the research is that employment aspects are fundamental aspects of the economy. Developing economy Through the process of industrialization, must be able to absorb a lot of labor. With the increasing number of workers absorbed, there will be an increase in the welfare of the population. This research is an analysis of secondary data such as time series data in 2010-2014. The analysis technique used is panel data regression. The results of the study show that the level of economic growth and the district/city minimum wage have a positive effect on employment, while the number of industrial companies does not have no effect on employment in the industrial sector of the province of Central Java.
