Abstract
Editorial management is an application of management functions that include planning, organizing, mobilizing, and supervising the processing of content on a platform. IBTimes.id, a website that was born by the younger generation of Muhammadiyah, emerged as a form of concern for the dynamics of content in online Islamic media which is considered unhealthy and concerns about the decline of Muhammadiyah in the online realm. This study aims to determine how the implementation of editorial management on the IBTimes.id website. The method used is a qualitative research method and uses research data derived from in-depth interviews and documentation on the IBTimes.id web page. These results were analyzed using qualitative data analysis. Determination of informants using purposive sampling technique. The results of the study show that IBTimes.id's strategic planning by carrying the moderate Islamic narrative is an online identity construction as an alternative medium for Muhammadiyah. This construction is manifested in the rubric and various content produced. Organizing contributors in the form of freedom in determining the author's contributors shows the character of alternative media, as well as shows coherence with the values espoused by Muhammadiyah
