Abstract
Batik marketing in an area needs to be done in order to increase batik buyers or consumers to be interested in buying batik. The purpose of this study is to describe the characteristics of batik marketing in Kampung Batik Laweyan, Laweyan Subdistrict, Surakarta City, describe the behavior of sellers and buyers in the batik marketing process in Kampung Batik Laweyan, Laweyan Subdistrict, Surakarta City, and describe the interactions that occur. between seller and buyer in the process. batik marketing in Kampung Batik Laweyan, Laweyan Subdistrict, Surakarta City. The type of research conducted by researchers in the form of descriptive research. The implementation of this research was carried out in Kampung Batik Laweyan Surakarta City in May 2021. The research subjects used are the production and marketing section of Kampung Batik Laweyan Surakarta City. The validity of the data so that the maximum of this research is by triangulation. Analysis of this research data uses qualitative data techniques. The results showed the marketing of batik writing in the batik village of Surakarta using Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat or often called SWOT.
