Abstract

One of the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic is the decline in the quality of life of the community, including high school students. This study aims to investigate the quality of life of high school students in Indonesia during the Covid-19 pandemic. The subjects in this study were 112 high school students who live in Indonesia. The sampling technique used is incidental sampling. The data collection method used in this study used the WHOQoL-BREF quality of life scale by distributing online questionnaires using Google Forms media. This research is a descriptive quantitative research with Univariate Analysis method. The results showed that the quality of life of most high school students, as many as 55 respondents (49.1%) in the high category, as many as 51 respondents (45.5%) had satisfaction with health. In addition, this study also found that the environmental domain of most respondents was in the good category as many as 60 respondents (53.6%) and the psychological health domain was in the good category as many as 56 respondents (50%). Then for the physical health domain in the moderate category as many as 72 respondents (64.3%) while the social relations domain of the respondents was in the moderate category as many as 48 respondents (42.9%). Apart from these four domains, there are other factors that can affect the quality of life of high school students such as culture, religion and belief. One way that can be done to maintain the quality of life during the current pandemic is by doing physical activities such as sports or hobbies that can be done at home, while also keeping in touch with friends and relatives through social media.
