Abstract
Schools that implement a boarding school system are based on considerations to achieve a more complete educational goal, which includes creativity, taste, initiative, and work so as to produce graduates who are not only superior in thinking but also have noble personalities. This is related to the main foundation of the Muhammadiyah movement in the letter Al-Maun taught by KH. Ahmad Dahlan. This interpretation is divided into three main parts: education, health and social. Seeing that Muhammadiyah's focus on education in the Ponorogo area is still uneven distribution of schools in remote areas, one of which is Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Muhammadiyah 5 Sidoharjo, Pulung, Ponorogo. This hostel is expected to be able to accommodate students both academically and non-academically with an Islamic architectural approach. In addition, because this hostel is located in the Muhammadiyah complex, so if other levels of education want to use this place, it can also be used for joint activities.
