Abstract

One feature of the many miracle of the Qur’an is that it has a basic form of the root word with its variant of meaning and context. One is tayyib, who had twelve basic word changes that contained 10 context of meaning and scrattered troughout the 50 verses of the Quran. From a number of these verses, the food context dominates with seventeen verses of the Quran. Furthermore the fact on the ground confirms that when one look for tayyib in a google search engine, it will be found that eight of the top ten searches are on halalan tayyiban in food context. The writing further review the basic tayyib terminological substance. The relational meaning and the world meaning tayyib in the Quran to create comprehensive picture of meaning. From the above is written this thesis under the semantic title tayyib in the Quran by semantic method Toshihiko Izutsu. Using this theory we find tayyib to be an adjective that demonstrates the positive quality of the object it neither physical nor non physical, matter nor non material and its significance over time. It is that this study will help enhance our khazanah knowledge espepecially the specific research into discussions t}ayyib, thereby wiser understanding of the Quran from time to time and getting its full meaning.tayyib , semantic of tayyib, tayyib in the Quran.
