Abstract

SMA N 1 Sukoharjo is one of the favorite high schools in Sukoharjo district. In delivering information to various groups, the high school uses the website as a medium of information. However, the website used is not responsive, resulting in visitors who use smartphones being less comfortable with how it looks. Therefore, the development of a responsive school information system was made with the aim that every user can access the website through a multi-platform comfortably. The method used by the author is waterfall, while for the programming language the author uses PHP and Javascript in the development of this school's information system. The author's supporting software in developing this information system is the codeigniter framework, Xampp as a local server and storing databases, Visual Studio Code as a code editor in developing this system. The results obtained are a responsive School Information System for both visitor and admin pages. The development of this school information system can make it easier for visitors to access the website comfortably because it is responsive which allows visitors to access websites with multi-platforms. System testing for admins uses blackbox testing while for users or visitors using the User Acceptance Test. Getting a value of 94% on user testing, it can be concluded that the user strongly agrees that the system is comfortable to use and also responsive.
