Abstract

This study aims: (1) to describe the ability of mathematics students in developing student worksheets; (2) to find out the obstacles faced by mathematics students in developing student worksheets in microteaching courses. The indicators used by students in developing LKPD include compatibility with core competencies and basic competencies, interactive communication, suitability of material presentation techniques with learning model syntax, and typography of letters used to facilitate understanding, reading and attracting students. This type of research is qualitative descriptive, taking 6 subjects from 53 students of the 6th semester Mathematics Study Program for the 2020/2021 academic year. Data collection techniques used are documentation and interviews. The results of this study indicate that the ability of students to develop student worksheets has been achieved, which includes: (1) For students with high categories, the results of the LKPD made are suitable for use in learning and students with high categories have been able to make LKPD well. For students in the medium category, the LKPD made contained all indicators of the observed aspects, so that the LKPD made was quite good. Meanwhile, for students with categories, the LKPD made there are still some indicators that have not been met, so that the LKPD made is not good enough; (2) For students with high categories, the obstacles experienced are that it takes a longer time to make an attractive LKPD design. The obstacles experienced by students in the medium category are in making LKPD it is difficult to find the right content for designing LKPD. While the obstacles experienced by students with low categories are in making LKPD attractive to students.
