Abstract
Glagah Beach continues to experience tourism development from 2016 to 2019. This development can be seen from the development of existing facilities and facilities in the Glagah Beach area. One of the new facilities is an airplane transportation facility called Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA). The Government of Kulon Progo Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) plans to make the Glagah Beach area an international tourist destination. One way to achieve this is by adding accommodation facilities around the Glagah Beach area, a resort hotel type. Resort hotel buildings as one of the architectural objects on a large scale must be able to seek or implement existing solutions as a response to environmental problems. One of the efforts that resort hotels can do in their construction is by implementing designs that can help save energy based on local climatic conditions. The local climate-based building design is known as Bioclimatic Design.
