Abstract
The batik industry in Pekalongan has become a major pillar of the economy. The average batik industry people in Pekalongan are house or small industries and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). The increasing activity of the batik industry in Pekalongan City makes the environmental quality continue to deteriorate and requires special attention. From the result of the inventory of CV. Pola Prisma and BAPPEDA Pekalongan City, Pasirsari Village (now referred to as Pasirkratonkramat Village) is the largest batik industrial area in Pekalongan and the largest batik waste producer. However, the making of communal or individual WWTPs (Wastewater treatment plants) hasn't been found in batik waste processing, so the surrounding environment is polluted. Pasirkratonkramat Village, including Pasirsari Village, has the highest Poverty UDB. The batik industry is one of the sectors with the highest percentage, which is dominated by Pasirsari Village. Therefore, the existence of a tourist village in Pasirsari Village will affect the increase in the community's economy. The purpose of developing Pasirsari Pekalongan Batik Village as a Green Batik Tourism Village is to be able to accommodate marketing, training, and village search activities so that it can increase economic, social and cultural values and as a design development of natural batik medicine gardens and communal WWTPs to support Green Batik Tourism Village. Data collection methods used are observation, interviews, and literature study. The design of village development refers to the theory proposed by Cooper et al. (2000) and The Urban Design Process, a book by Hamid Shirvani (1985). The design of village development through the Green Batik approach, namely the Communal Batik WWTPs and Natural Medicine Batik Park and the application of the Green Village or Green City concept by applying the eight attributes of a green city.
