Abstract
The aim of this study was to find out the coping strategies that used by female high school student of Assalaam boarding school to solving the burnout in Arabic lesson. The method of this study is descriptive qualitative. Interview and observation are used as the method. The subject of this study is 13 of 12th grade female student who have already studied in 6 years.The result of this study showed that all the subjects had the experience of burnout in Arabis lesson. The factors are often meet Arabic lesson, not understand enough to Arabic lesson, vocabularies that rarely heard, the way of teacher’s explanation, the lesson it self is difficult the learning materials are more difficult, the text books are using Arabic without harakat, often sleepy in class room, too many subjects to be memorized, monotone, and lost interest in Arabis lesson. The coping straegies that used to prevent the burnout are : giving colorful lines in the text book, study together with friends, motivate themselve, self-awareness, make mid mapping, leave the classroom a minute to get fresh air, sleep in the classroom, drawing, walk around in the classroom, and have conversation with chairmate
