Abstract

Lack of monitoring on quail houses is a problem for breeders. Quail breeders still use manual methods to maintain the temperature and humidity values in the livestock pen. This work can cause problems such as failure of breeders to maintain temperature and humidity values in the livestock pen. On this basis, a tool designed to maintain temperature and humidity values was made by adding IoT as a monitoring medium. This study aims to design and implement automatic control in quail houses. This research method is carried out by studying literature and collecting research data from the tools that have been made. To detect temperature and humidity in this study using DHT11. The sensor readings will be displayed on the 16x2 LCD. In this study, using a DC fan as the cage cooler if the temperature is more than ideal and a yellow DC light as a cage heater if the temperature is less than ideal. The ESP8266 module will receive temperature and humidity values which will be sent to the website that will be used on the system. The DHT11 sensor on the device is able to detect temperature well, resulting in the small error value of 0,4%.
