Abstract
The process of human creation and biological events has become an important discussion today. Especially after the theory of human creation put forward by Darwin, which is still the starting material to this day. The theory that reveals that humans But the theory was refuted after the discovery of the science of embryology which refuted the ideas of Darwin. Interestingly, the Qur'an has discussed in detail how human events occurred long before the theory was discovered. The Qur'an states that man was created from clay. Thus, this study attempts to describe the scientific interpretation carried out by Tantawi Jauhari and the Indonesian Ministry of Religion of the verses of the process of human creation. Both theories have the same theory in every verse of the creation of man, but when discussing a few words the difference, this is due to the tendency, approach and time of the emergence of the sciences that are the problem studied in this study is how the process of human creation in the Qur'an. an. a>n explained by Tantawi Jauhari and the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia which is a representative book and concentrates on verses related to science, as well as their similarities and differences. The purpose of this study was to find out the explanation of the process of human creation in the Qur'an from the two commentators. The type of research used in this study was literature with an interpretive descriptive approach and using comparative analysis methods. From the results of this study found similarities and differences, namely methodological aspects and related aspects related to the process of creating humans from the ground according to Tantawi through the turab phase, t}in, then into t}in la>zib then processed into black mud (hamma>in), then proceeds again to become dry clay like pottery, after that it turns into pottery (fakhkha>r) ar-Rahma>n: 14), then becomes Adam as the first human. Meanwhile, in the interpretation of the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia through stages starting from soil, starch extract from soil, dry clay from shaped mud, and dry soil such as pottery. And in the process of human creation from the womb of the mother. Both have the same process, namely with 5 phases including: the nut}fah phase, 'alaqah, mud}gah, bone and flesh formation, and metaphysical formation. According to Tantawi, there is a difference in the sex growth of the fetus, which occurs in a 4-month-old fetus, while according to the Ministry of Religion, the fetus is 2 months or 10 weeks old.
