Abstract
This study aims to empirically prove the correlation of father-son attachment and social competence with cyber bullying behavior. The subjects in this study were adolescents aged 12-18 years who actively used social media. The number of respondents in this study amounted to 200 people. This study uses random sampling techniques through googleform with likert scale data collection tools, namely the scale of attachment, the scale of social competence, and the scale of cyber abuse. The data analysis techniques used in this study are multiple regressions. Based on the results of the partial multiple regression correlation test of social competence variables with a tendency to cyberbullying, the coefficient value (tcount) is 4.116 and sig.(p) is 0.000 (p < 0.01), which shows that there is a significant relationship between social competence. with a tendency to cyberbullying. Based on the results of the partial multiple regression correlation test, the variable of father's attachment with a tendency to cyberbullying. The coefficient value (tcount) is 5.192 and sig.(p) is 0.000 (p<0.01), which shows that there is a significant relationship between paternal attachment and the tendency to cyberbullying. Based on the results of the correlation test simultaneously multiple regression of the child's attachment variable with the father and social competence with a tendency to cyberbullying, the coefficient value (F) of 186,117 and sig. (p) of 0.000 (p < 0.01) means that together variables of child attachment to father and social competence have a positive and significant relationship to the tendency to cyberbullying. The effective contribution of children's attachment to their fathers and social competence with a tendency to cyberbullying behavior, R squared 65.4% and 34.6% other factors.
