Abstract
This study aims to determine: (1) the condition of school facilities and infrastructure in supporting technology-based learning on disaster materials based on school status and accreditation; (2) the teacher's method in learning technology-based disaster materials by utilizing the facilities and infrastructure in schools. This study used descriptive qualitative method. This research was conducted in 3 schools, namely, SMP Negeri 3 Colomadu, SMP Angkasa, and SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Jaten. The subjects in this study were the principal, school infrastructure, social studies teacher, 5 students, librarian, UKS staff, science laboratory and computer staff. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis technique using interactive analysis consists of: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that: (1) school status and accreditation affect the completeness of facilities and infrastructure in supporting technology-based learning. The percentage of facilities and infrastructure conditions in SMP Negeri 3 Colomadu is 95.16%, SMP Angkasa is 84.5% and SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Jaten is 77.2%; (2) At the 3 schools the teacher uses themethod Discovery Learning and has implemented technology-based learning such as e-learning and web-based which includes e-mail, discussion groups, and uploading teaching materials from the internet. The teacher has provided an ICT-based assessment.
