Abstract
This study aims to (1) describe the pillars and conditions of the practice of buying and selling catfish seeds with a dosing calculation system and (2) describing a review of Islamic law regarding whether or not it is permissible to sell catfish seeds with a dosing calculation system in Banyubiru District, Semarang Regency. The research method used is field research (field studies), using a qualitative approach. The main data sources in a qualitative research are words and actions, the rest are additional data such as documents. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is a deductive way of thinking, which is a way of thinking that departs from general knowledge and then judged from specific events. The results of this study found (1) That the sale and purchase contract seen from the practice carried out by the catfish seed seller is acceptable, but in terms of other things, it causes some consumers to be disappointed when the number of catfish seeds purchased is not in accordance with the agreement. (2) The discrepancy between the contract and its implementation which results in the occurrence of an element of gharar or ambiguity that can cause disputes in the future so that the sale and purchase contract of catfish seeds is not in accordance with the principles of Islamic business ethics.
