Hypertension status was obtained from three measurements of systolic/diastolic blood pressure which was then taken the average and nutritional status according to BMI obtained from the residents aged 55-64 years in 35 districts/cities derived from Riskesdas 2018 Central Java data. The number of samples was 994 respondents; the analysis used was the chi square test with a 95% confidence level. Results: Most of the respondents was elderly (55-59 years old) (56%), working (65.6%), normal nutritional status (43.1%) and had hypertension (66.2%). There was a significant correlation between nutritional status and hypertension cases of elderly women in Central Java Province (p = 0.000). Hope for the community to implement, support and succeed the health programs that have been established by the government.
