Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of bank lending on Indonesia's economic growth in 2010-2019. The variables used in this study are working capital financing, investment financing and consumption financing as independent variables, employment in Indonesia as the dependent variable. The variables in this study used secondary data obtained through the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the Financial Services Authority (OJK). The type of research used in this study is quantitative research using the OLS (Ordinary Least Square) data analysis method which applies classical assumption tests and statistical tests with the help of the Eviews 8 software program and Microsoft Excel 2013. 9943 which means that 99.43% of labor absorption in Indonesia is explained by working mode financing, investment financing, and consumption financing, while 0.57% is influenced by other factors. Partially, based on the results of the t-test on the variables of investment financing and consumption financing, it was obtained t-count>t-table and sig<0.05, meaning that the investment financing and consumption financing variables had a significant influence on employment in Indonesia, while the variable partially working capital financing obtained t-count <t-table and sig>0.05 means that the variable working capital financing has no significant effect on employment in Indonesia.
