Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the efforts of parents in increasing children's learning motivation and to analyze the description of parenting used by parents. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. The place of research is at the Alam Surya Mentari Kindergarten. The number of subjects in this study were 26 people. The results of this study prove that 65% of parents apply democratic parenting and the rest use permissive and authoritarian parenting. Parents have their respective roles and ways of assisting in helping children's online learning process with the school. Provide supervision and provide regulations that are considered to help increase children's learning motivation. Such as continuing to support children's learning activities and also keep telling children which ones are good and also not good to do when participating in online learning.
