Abstract

The role of manufacturing sector in enhance GRDP in Subosukawonosraten in the last five years has increased. However, the contribution of the manufacturing sector in each region is still not evenly distributed, so it is feared that production output and income will decrease. This study aimed to estimate effect of investment, labor, and net exports on GRDP in manufacturing sector in Subosukawonosraten region from 2014-2019 by using panel data regression with the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) approach. The results of this study indicated that individually, investment and net exports were proven to have no effect on GRDP in manufacturing sector. Meanwhile, the workfoce was proven to have a positive effect on GRDP. The suggestion that can be given in this study is that the government is expected to be able to create a suitable investment climate to enhance investments in the manufacturing industries. In addition, the government should provide programs to improve the competence of the workfoce. Lastly, the government ought to adjust the balance between the level of exports and imports to avoid a trade balance deficit, so that GRDP will increase.
