Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, the government established a study from home policy. Although learning from home, evaluation activities cannot be abandoned. In conducting the evaluation there are principles and procedures that must be carried out by Early Childhood Education teachers. This is the background of researchers in conducting research with the aim of describing the principles and procedures for evaluating learning at the IT Insan Madani Kindergarten during the COVID-19 pandemic. Subjects in the study were principals and teachers at the IT Insan Madani Kindergarten. The object of this research is the implementation of learning evaluation. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Methods of collecting data through interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis. Data from the results of the study were re-tested for validity by extending participation, pursuing observations and triangulation. The results of the study show that the implementation of the IT Insan Madani Kindergarten learning evaluation continues to run well despite the current covid-19 pandemic. The teacher applies the seven principles of evaluation and performs evaluation procedures sequentially from evaluation planning to reporting and follow-up.
