Abstract

The purpose of this study includes describing how the marketing squirming of the Galang Handycraft miniature toy car in Jombor Ceper Klaten and describing the causes of the marketing squirming of the Galang Handycraft miniature toy car in Jombor Ceper Klaten. The research method uses qualitative and ethnographic research design with the research subject Mr. Sardi, the owner of the Galang Handycraft business. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documents. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Hurbermen model which includes data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The validity of the data using triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of this study indicate that the marketing squirming of the Galang Handycraft business occurs in marketing activities due to the condition of the country experiencing a pandemic, marketing activities are stretched towards an impact on product marketing. The place for product marketing is at local exhibitions and Dekranas. Product promotion is currently using social media, and product demand systems are stretching towards an impact on online ordering. Capital and raw materials are only to support the business and not to stretch. The cause of stretching occurs in changes in demand for products that cause stretching because of the demand for different motives and quantities by consumers. Pricing is the cause of the squirming because the prices for old and new stock are different by increasing the price to Rp. 5000 for new stock. The promotion method that causes the stretching is themethod personal selling into digital media using social media instagram. The distribution strategy is the reason for this because the business is following technological developments, therefore the distribution strategy has changed from a local pattern to a broad pattern using the marketplace Tokopedia. The product design is the cause of its swell because it follows the wishes of consumers, Galang Handycraft's business is working on examples of designs from consumers.
