Abstract
This study aims to analyze the factors that influence private investment (PMA and PMDN) in Central Java. This research uses multiple linear analysis with Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method. The results of this study indicate that the variables of government expenditure and the provincial minimum wage have an effect on private investment in Central Java, while the variables of interest rates, inflation, exchange rates, and unemployment have no effect on private investment in Central Java. The coefficient of determination is 0.835384, which means that 83.54% of the variation of private investment variables in Central Java can be explained by the variables of interest rates, inflation, exchange rates, government spending, provincial minimum wages, and unemployment. The remaining 16.54%, influenced by other variables or factors not included in the model.
