Abstract
Innovation is a concept that addresses the application of new ideas, products, processes. Curriculum innovation is carried out to answer educational challenges and innovation is the main mission is to answer educational problems. Therefore, the Al Abidin foundation, especially elementary schools, has different curriculum innovations, namely the tahfidz curriculum innovation, international programs, and information and communication technology. The purpose of this research is none other than one: to describe how the implementation of the Tahfidz curriculum innovation, international program innovation, and information and communication technology innovation, two: to develop the advantages of SD Al Abidin, three: to describe the barriers and support for curriculum innovation in Al Abidin Elementary School. In this study, using descriptive research, namely research that describes the Innovation of the Tahfidz Curriculum, International Programs, and Information and Communication Technology to develop superior schools at SD Al Abidin Surakarta for the 2019/2020 academic year. The data in this study were collected from interviews, observation and documentation. The results of research on Tahfidz Curriculum Innovation, International Programs, and Information and Communication Technology to develop superior schools at SD Al Abidin Surakarta for the 2019/2020 Academic Year in this school are in accordance with the stages in implementing curriculum innovation from planning, implementation, and evaluation. As for what makes SD Al Abidin superior is the Tahfidz program which has a memorization target of 10 juz, an international program that collaborates directly with Cambridge, and ICT which is the first school to use technology where one child uses one computer. Supporting factors: parents who welcome the school program so that there is cooperation between parents and school, parents want to spend time at home, children and parents can already speak English, and children use one computer when learning takes place. Inhibiting factors: parents leave everything to school without any cooperation, parents do not want to monitor their children at home, lack of English back ground, lack of understanding of Cambridge, when computer learning occurs, blackouts occur, wifi disconnects.
