Abstract

This study aims to determine the local financial performance of the Surakarta City government in 2014-2019 measured by the degree of decentralization, the level of regional dependence, the level of regional financial independence, the level of effectiveness of local taxes, the level of local tax efficiency, the level of harmony, the level of spending efficiency and the growth rate. The type of data used in this research is secondary data. The secondary data in this study is the 2014-2019 APBD Realization Report Summary data. This data was obtained through the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD) and from the website of the Director General of Fiscal Balance of the Regional Government. Financial Ratio Analysis is used to calculate the Regional Financial Performance Analysis and Regional Financial Capability. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the financial capacity of the city of Surakarta is high and the position of the city of Surakarta is in quadrant I, which is the most ideal condition.
