Abstract

In this study, self-efficacy is one of the factors that influence the resilience of teachers during the Covid-19 pandemic. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a positive relationship between self-efficacy and resilience in elementary school teachers during the Covid-19 pandemic. The subjects in this study were elementary school teachers in the Karanganyar area as many as 120 teachers. The sample collection technique used purposive sampling, with the subject criteria being elementary school teachers in the Karanganyar area, and teaching during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research method is correlational quantitative with a measuring instrument in the form of a scale, namely the Self-Efficacy Scale and the Resilience Scale. The validity of the Self-Efficacy Scale and Resilience Scale is declared valid with a coefficient of 0.66-0.1. In addition, the scale is declared reliable, with the acquisition of a self-efficacy score of 0.835 and a resilience score of 0.810. The data analysis technique used is the product moment correlation and two way ANOVA. The results of the analysis show that the value of rxy obtains a result of 0.502 and sig. 1 tailed is 0.000 with p < 0.05, which means that there is a significant positive relationship between self-efficacy and resilience in elementary school teachers during the Covid-19 pandemic, so the hypothesis in this study is accepted. The higher the level of self-efficacy that a person has, the higher the resilience possessed by a person. The results of the difference test using a independent sample T-test between self-efficacy and resilience in terms of gender showed that has a significance value of 0.933 which means that there is no significant difference. Based on the results of categorization In this study, the resilience and self-efficacy of elementary school teachers during the Covid-19 pandemic was high. The effective contribution given by self-efficacy to resilience is 0.252 or equal to 25.5%, and the other 74.8% is influenced by factors other than self-efficacy.
