Abstract
Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) is an important factor in supporting production process, since investment can boost economic growth. This study aimed to estimate the effect of GRDP, HDI, and inflation on FDI in Indonesia from 2012 to 2020 using a panel data regression model with the Fixed Effcet (FE) approach. The results of this study indicated that, partially, GRDP was proven to have a positive effect, while inflation had a negative effect on FDI. Meanwhile, HDI had no effect on FDI in Indonesia. It is suggested that the government plan development programs to increase HDI in remote areas in Indonesia. In addition, GRDP is expected to increase every year, so that it becomes a positive signal to foreign investors to invest their capital. Furthermore, inflation must also be maintained at a stable level by the government, so that investors are less worried about their profits.
