Abstract

Bukit Sanjaya Selo Boyolali is a tourist attraction from a replica of the Bali Lempunyang gate with a backdrop of Mount Merapi. Taman Merapi Garden is also a tourist attraction with a backdrop of Mount Merapi which is filled with various types of flowers. This study aims to describe the sale of tourist tickets and ticket sales constraints at Bukit Sanjaya Selo Boyolali and Taman Merapi Garden. Based on the formulation of the problem, the type of research that is suitable is qualitative with an economic ethnographic design. Data collection techniques used are in-depth interviews and documentation. The data validity technique uses source triangulation. The results of this study indicate that 1) The income managed by the manager of Bukit Sanjaya Selo Boyolali was obtained from the sale of tourist tickets from August 2020 - June 2021 as many as 69,038 tickets or equivalent to Rp. 690,380,000,-. Meanwhile, the revenue managed by the management of Taman Merapi Garden in 2020-2021 from August 2020 - June 2021 was 44,503 tickets or Rp. 222.515.000,-. This income has decreased every month, after the eruption of Mount Merapi in mid-February 2021, revenues for Bukit Sanjaya Selo Boyolali and Taman Merapi Garden decreased. 2) The problem of selling tickets to Bukit Sanjaya Selo Boyolali is influenced by the level of management and the level of promotion.
