Abstract

A company that built by its owner definitely has an achievable purpose, to achieve the purpose, it needs employees to support and operate the whole company’s activity. Therefore,a company must pay an attention to job satisfaction to achieve effective work performance. The purpose of this research is to find out if there any correlation between organizational culture with job satisfaction of the employee. The population of this research is the whole employees one of the Broadcasting Institutions in Surakarta which amounts to 135 people which amount of sample is 103 people. The sampling technique is simple random sampling. This research is belonged to quantitative. The instrument to collect the data is organizational culture scale and job satisfaction scale. The analysis technique of this research is product momment pearson. The result of the data achieved shows a correlation coefficient in the amount of= 0,624; p = 0,000 (p < 0,05) whichindicates that there is positive correlation bewtween organizational culture and job satisfaction of employees. This result shows that the hypothesis is acceptable. Therefore, it can be concluded that the stronger the organizational culture, the higher the job satisfaction.
