Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of work discipline and work environment on employee performance through job satisfaction. This research was conducted at PT. Jaya Agung Plastik using the number of samples taken as many as 41 respondents. The sampling technique is non-probability sampling or saturated sample. The data analysis technique used is SEM-PLS whose calculations are assisted by the SmartPLS 3.2.9 program. The evaluation analysis of the Partial Least Square (PLS) model was carried out by evaluating the outer model and evaluating the inner model. The results of data analysis show that work discipline has no significant effect on job satisfaction. Then the work environment has a significant effect on job satisfaction. While work discipline has a significant effect on employee performance. Then the work environment has no significant effect on employee performance. The results of data analysis also show that job satisfaction does not mediate positively and significantly between the effect of work discipline on employee performance. Meanwhile, job satisfaction mediates positively and significantly between the work environment and employee performance.
