Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of job stress on employee performance at the Terminal Service Unit Type A Purboyo Madiun, and to analyze the effect of job satisfaction on employee performance at the Terminal Service Unit Type A Purboyo Madiun. The population in this study were all employees who worked in the Terminal Service Unit Type A Purboyo Madiun as many as 128 people. The sampling method used in this study is the saturated sample method. This research is an associative research that aims to determine the relationship between two or more variables. This research uses a quantitative type that emphasizes on the philosophy of positivism to examine a particular population or sample, collecting data using research instruments by testing the hypotheses made. The data from this study uses primary data obtained from questionnaires in the form of questions that have been prepared, and distributed to respondents to be filled in which aims to examine the effect of work stress on employee performance at the Terminal Service Unit Type A Purboyo Madiun, and the effect of job satisfaction on employee performance at Purboyo Madiun Type A Terminal Service Unit. The data collection technique used in this study is a survey, where the data obtained directly by the researcher by distributing questionnaires to respondents, and respondents providing answers to predetermined questionnaires. The results showed that work stress had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and job satisfaction had a positive and significant effect on employee performance.
