Abstract
This study aims to describe: the management of the Batik Pring Sedapur industry through the Mukti Rahayu Joint Business Group (KUBE) in Magetan Regency. This type of qualitative research with ethnographic design. There are four research subjects, namely one leader and three batik makers. The data collection techniques are interviews and documentation. The validity of the data uses source triangulation. The data analysis technique uses an interactive model, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that several aspects that are important in the management of the Batik Pring Sedapur industry through the Mukti Rahayu Joint Business Group (KUBE) in Magetan Regency are planning, organizing, implementing and monitoring. The existing planning in the Batik Pring Sedapur industry is regarding the selection of locations and buildings, capital planning and the provision of tools and materials. The organization has been organized because it has a clear organizational structure. Aspects of its implementation include production mechanisms, production time, production targets, product development, labor, working hours system, work placement, payroll system and marketing. The nine aspects of the implementation have been going well. Meanwhile, in the aspect of supervision, the industry still has shortcomings, namely the leadership is too trusting of all activities to all members so that the leadership does not carry out supervision and also rarely conducts work evaluations.
