Abstract
This study aims to describe the development of the home industry for Roti Sajiyem and describe the contribution of women to the development of the home industry for Roti Sajiyem in Gatak District. This research is a qualitative research with ethnographic design. Data collection methods used are observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data validity technique used in this study was tested through triangulation of sources. The results showed that the developments in the home industry of rotisserie were marked by an increase in sales turnover and an increase in the amount of bread production. The increase in the amount of bread production in the home industry of Roti Sajiyem is carried out to meet the demand from the catering and consumers, with the large number of requests from consumers and the catering party, the sales turnover will increase. The women in the home industry of the rotisserie make a huge contribution. The first contribution is to innovate products, this is done so that the home industry can develop with innovations in its products. The second contribution is to promote products using social media platforms, this is done in order to increase promotion costs and provide product information to consumers quickly. The third contribution given by women in the home industry of Roti Sajiyem is to improve sales services, this is done so that consumers become more comfortable when buying products.
