Abstract

The aims of this study are 1) to find out the implementation of tahfidz Qur’an management in SMP Islam Dewan Da’wah Bekasi for the 2019/2020 academic year. 2) to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors on tahfidz Qur’an in SMP Islam Dewan Da’wah Bekasi for the 2019/2020 academic year. This research is field research with the descriptive method and qualitative approach. The object of this study is SMP Islam Dewan Da’wah Tambun Bekasi. This study uses primary data collected by observation, interview, and documentation. Thereafter the data is analysed by reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of tahfidz Al-Qur'an management at the Islamic Junior High School Dewan Da'wah Islamiyah Indonesia goes through several stages, namely a) Planning for tahfidz Al-Qur'an at the Islamic Junior High School Dewan Da'wah Islamiyah Indonesia is carried out by developing a plan for one next year, determine targets or goals, evaluate tahfidz Al-Qur'an in the previous academic year, then develop strategies that will be used to achieve these goals. b) Organizing tahfidz Al-Qur'an Islamic Junior High School of Dewan Da'wah Islamiyah Indonesia, namely the division of tasks, authorities and responsibilities according to their respective duties. Each individual who is directly involved with tahfidz has different but interrelated duties and responsibilities. Tahfidz coordinators and tahfidz teachers are components directly involved in tahfidz Al-Qur'an at DDII Islamic Junior High School. c) The implementation of tahfidz Al-Qur'an at the Islamic Junior High School of Dewan Da'wah Islamiyah Indonesia is carried out in the morning at 07:00-08:30 a.m and at 2:00-3:00 p.m. The method used is infirodi and some students also use the talaqqi method. d) Supervision of tahfidz Al-Qur'an at the Islamic Junior High School of Dewan Da'wah Islamiyah Indonesia is carried out by the tahfidz coordinator by collecting evaluation forms given to tutors every one month, three months and six months to see the progress of students' tahfidz. Supervision is carried out by supporting teachers through muta'baah books. The supporting factors of tahfidz Al-Qur'an at DDII Islamic Junior High School are the intentions and talents that are accompanied by the sincerity they have, and motivational support from others. The inhibiting factors for tahfidz Al-Qur'an at DDII Islamic Junior High School are the strong attraction of current technology, and the lack of fluency in reading the Qur'an by students.
