Abstract

Generally, pandemic impacts on the quality of life of people worldwide, including in Solo Raya, Indonesia. This study aims to describe the quality of life of early adulthood age people in Solo Raya areas during the COVID-19 pandemic. Participants of this study are 152 people who live in Solo Raya areas and 20-40 years old. The is a quantitative descriptive research. Data collection was carried out using the WHOQOL-BREF quality of life scale (WHO Quality of Life questionnaire) and circulated through online platform. The data analysis technique was univariate analysis (descriptive analysis) and one-way ANOVA analysis for comparative testing. The results of this study indicate that the quality of life of the early adulthood age people in Solo Raya areas during pandemic 54.6% are good, 31.6% are moderate, and 5.9% are low quality of life. In the domain of physical health, 64.5% subjects have the average level of health, while 48% of the subjects show moderate psychological health as well. In the social relations domain 44.7% of subjects have moderate level, while 56.6% have good quality of life in the environmental domain. This study suggests that it is important for the government to pay attention on some minority groups in the community who have low quality of life.
