Abstract
This study aims to determine: 1) the influence of parenting patterns on the socio-emotional development of early childhood in Weru Village Kindergarten Sukoharjo, 2) The amount of effective contribution of parenting variables to children's social emotional variables, 3) The amount of relative contribution of parenting variables to variables children's social emotions. This study is a descriptive quantitative study, the population in this study was parents of early childhood, which amounted to 55 parents. The number of samples is based on the saturated sample technique, that is, all of the population is the sample. Data on parenting patterns and social emotional development of children were obtained using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used simple linear regression. The results of this study indicate 1) there is an influence between parenting patterns on the social emotional development of children using the t test, which is based on the comparison of tcount and ttable, it can be seen that tcount = 4,186 > ttable = 2,006, then H0 is rejected, meaning that there is a significant (significant) effect. ) between parenting and social-emotional children during the pandemic. 2) The effective contribution of parenting styles to children's social emotions is 24%. 3) The relative contribution of parenting patterns to children's social emotions is 1 or 100%.
